Funeral for MY fish

April 6th 2020 Premiere for Mana Contemporary.

Using preserved, salted fish, the three sequences of Funeral for MY fish revisit the gestures and rituals of meal preparation. Shape and movement are crucial to the performance staging, stemming from the Quaker practice of meeting for worship. The video features actions performed by Keely Dowd, with music composed by Tamas Vilaghy.
